I built this because job hunting in 2026 is a numbers game that punishes you for caring. Every application wants a tailored résumé, a custom cover letter, and thoughtful answers — times dozens of postings. And most "AI job tools" want your résumé, your data, and a monthly subscription in return.
So I made the opposite: a local-first desktop app that does the grind _on your machine_.
What it does:
- 🔎 Finds & matches — scrapes 16 job boards and scores every posting against your résumé (hybrid semantic + keyword matching, ATS scoring, skill-gap analysis). The aggregator even reaches walled boards like Indeed, Glassdoor and Xing. - ✍️ Generates — tailored résumés, cover letters, and grounded answers to application questions. 9 ATS-safe templates, export to DOCX / PDF / TXT, in 11 languages, with a live view of the model thinking. - 🤖 Autopilot — define a search once; it finds and scores new jobs on a schedule and tracks what's New vs Applied. - 🧩 Browser extension — save any job in one click (Chrome & Firefox).
The part I care about most: your data never leaves your device. Jobs, résumés, and generations all live in a local SQLite database. API keys sit in your OS keychain. Zero telemetry. And you bring your own AI — plug in OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini, point it at a local CLI agent (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI), or run it 100% offline with Ollama. No key, no cloud required.
It's free to download and runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux.
