I built this in 24 hours because I was tired of writing the same Excel formulas over and over and copy-pasting AI answers from ChatGPT into cells one by one.
So I made an AI agent that actually lives inside Excel's sidebar — you describe what you want in plain English, and it executes directly in your sheet. Sorts data, builds charts, finds duplicates, writes formulas, generates entire table templates from scratch.
The biggest technical challenge was getting the agent to reliably target the right rows/columns when the sheet structure varies (titles, headers, merged cells, etc.) — that took way more iteration than the AI part itself.
It runs on your own free Gemini API key, so there's no backend, no subscription, no data going through my servers.
