Agibot is an always-on personal AI agent that runs on your Mac. It keeps working in the background, even after you close the window. It can send you a morning brief, keep an eye on things and tell you when something changes, and handle tasks on the web for you. Chat with it in the app, on Telegram or on Slack. It remembers what you tell it, learns from your corrections and asks before doing anything risky. Free forever with your own API key.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Ökte, the maker of Agibot.
Most AI assistants only work while you're chatting with them. Close the tab and they stop. I wanted one that keeps going in the background and checks in with me when it matters.
That's Agibot: an always-on personal AI agent that runs on your own computer.
What it does
- Keeps working in the background, even after you close the window
- Sends you updates on a schedule, like a morning brief
- Keeps an eye on things and only messages you when something changes
- Handles tasks on the web for you, and on Mac it can use your apps too
- Talks with you in the app, on Telegram or on Slack, in one shared conversation
Why you can trust it
- It asks before doing anything risky, and you decide what it can do on its own
- Your chats and memories are saved on your computer
- You can see, edit and delete everything it remembers
- One click stops everything
It gets better as you use it
Correct it once, like "keep my briefs to five lines", and it remembers next time.
What it costs
Free forever with your own API key. Use OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini and others, or run a free local model. You pay the AI provider directly, with nothing added on top.

I'll be here in the comments all day. What would you hand off to it first?

It seems like Agibot makes sense for people who don’t want to run their AI agent in the cloud, but for everyone else, wouldn’t Grok bot or dots be a better choice? Does Agibot have any advantages over those alternatives?
"asks before doing anything risky" is doing a lot of work in that sentence and it's the part I'd actually want to understand before trusting an always-on agent with my own API key running unattended. is "risky" a fixed list you ship with, deleting files, sending messages, spending money, or something the agent itself judges case by case? a fixed list is auditable but will miss things, a judgment call is more flexible but means the bar moves depending on how the model is feeling that day.
