Hi Product Hunt! We run coding agents on long jobs and kept hitting the same wall: close the lid, the job dies. The usual fix, pmset disablesleep, stays on until you remember to undo it, which is how laptops end up flat or hot in a bag.
AgentAwake only keeps the Mac running while an agent is actually working. It sees Claude Code, Codex, opencode, Gemini CLI and aider; stops at a battery floor you choose; pauses on serious heat; and runs the fans harder while the lid is shut. It shows "Lid sleep blocked" only after reading it back from macOS, and a watchdog turns lid sleep back on within 60 seconds if the app ever stops.
