Agent Collab Kit
Local mailboxes and cooperative leases for AI agents
Coordinate agents on one trusted machine with a small Python standard-library CLI: durable SQLite messages, explicit acknowledgements, idempotency keys and expiring leases for exact resource names. Includes isolated tests and a supervised agent-improvement method. MIT licensed; no cloud, API key or agent framework. Cooperative coordination only: it does not authenticate agents, lock files or authorize real-world actions. By Kanibal Studio / Altavista360.
Hello! I’m Aymen, behind Kanibal Studio and Altavista360. When several agents work on a project, a chat message saying “done” is not a durable handoff, and two workers can reach for the same resource. Agent Collab Kit provides a small, inspectable starting point: a SQLite mailbox with explicit acknowledgements and cooperative leases with generation tokens. It runs locally with Python 3.10+ and its standard library. The repository includes fictitious examples, tests (including two processes racing for one claim), and a method for turning evidence into supervised improvements. It is not an agent framework or a security boundary: one integrator still reviews the work, expired leases do not stop a worker, and external actions need their own authorization. Try the README’s isolated demo on a local disk. Feedback on the handoff and recovery workflow is welcome. The project comes from our work around Altavista360, with K-Pulse and Altavista Conseil as public sites; the kit does not connect to those services. This presentation was prepared with AI assistance.
