Hey! Really excited to see this. It's always really exciting to see that you guys have known each other for so long, and having known you guys for so long myself, I can't help but be super excited to see y'all come through with such a thoughtful product.

Looking great, Aftercare! Based on a few tests I did a few weeks ago, I found the UX (e.g. survey build experience) pretty slick, especially for an early-stage product. Analytics/reporting functionality will obviously be critical as you go and, especially, as you look upmarket (Enterprise scale). I think the real differentiator is in the use of AI, especially if trained on specific use cases (and associated knowledge domains and areas of expertise) in the context of longer-form, more open surveying where one is really trying to deeply explore and understand something. Many surveys are purposefully designed to be shorter and simpler (per best practices, in many cases) and these seem less able to really leverage the potential of Aftercare, IMHO. I'll share more thoughts, directly, as I'm blabbing already :) Let's go Aftercare on ProductHunt!!!!

Love this - congrats on the launch! Leveraging AI to provide greater personalization to follow-up questions seems like an engaging format that could keep respondents interested longer. It seems like this tool could be used to reduce abandonment on complex topics by providing simplified, relevant follow-ups, hopefully decreasing nonresponse bias as well. Excited to follow Aftercare's journey!

@aidanlee Congratulations on launching Aftercare! The concept is fantastic, it’s creating an entirely new type of research, and I’ve already started using it. The potential here is immense! After quick product exploring, I’ve put together a few suggestions that might help enhance the experience: 1. Clarity on AI Followups It’s a bit hard to predict how AI followups will behave, which can make the experience less intuitive: - The segmented control for switching between editor AI modes feels like selecting a specific regime. Placing "AI Followups" directly under the "Open Ended Editor" could make the connection clearer. It might seem a bit visually crowded, but with the right design, it can still look clean. - The AI indication in the block diagram is subtle and not immediately clear. Showing follow-up questions as a separate block in the diagram would make it much easier to understand. 2. Improving Question Formulation Writing great questions is an art, and there’s room for the system to assist more here: - Questions could often be much shorter. If context is essential, splitting it into a short main question and a subsidiary explanatory block could keep things concise but clear. - The current questions are very straightforward, they mirror what the user initially wrote during survey creation. Reformulating them to prompt deeper, more reflective answers could improve the quality of the responses right from the start. 3. Interface Usability There are a few small interface issues that could be addressed to make things smoother: - Always show block names, because it’s tough to set up conditions without them. - An undo button for the block view would be quite helpful. - The progress bar finishes faster than the survey itself, which can be confusing for respondents. - Errors during survey creation don’t block preview functionality, but a preview attempt triggers another error. - The “Multiple Choice” question type is misleading and should be renamed “Single Choice” to avoid confusion. Despite all the comments, I’m truly impressed with what you’ve built so far and excited to see how Aftercare evolves. Great work, and best of luck!

I recommend the Aftercare app, as it greatly simplifies the process of conducting surveys and analyzing the data obtained. Thanks to the use of AI, the application asks additional clarifying questions, which allows for a deeper understanding of users' opinions.

Have always thought customer surveys were so impersonal – there was never any incentive to complete them as a user because they were never relevant to me. Love this!

Awesome work guys! I’m most excited about the dynamic AI questions. As a business owner with a multitude of products, colors and configurations, it is imperative that I have more granular insights. I have two questions: 1. I am worried about unwanted questions/topics being brought up in survey questions. Is there a way to create a blocklist of topics/words? 2. I would love to create dynamic discount codes based on the dynamic survey data. How could that look using Aftercare? Keep up the good work team! I will be in touch

This looks promising. We have 2.5M+ users on on Knowt and would love to try this in our product. There's a lot of open-ended feedback we've collected and it would be great if we could automatically summarize the useful insights. What options do you have to share the survey out, and how well can it be integrated into a product?
