"We built the infrastructure of a global radio company and handed the keys to the artists," said Andrew Froehlich, founder of AetherWave Studio. "Forty-four stations is the launch fleet. The real story is that anyone, anywhere, can raise a flag on the dial and start broadcasting to the world tonight."
AetherWave Studio today launched AetherWave Radio, a fleet of 44 broadcast stations built for the age of AI-native music. Sixteen of them hold a permanent position on an FM dial that runs from WAVE at 88.1 to Chinese Dance FM at 108.8. Each station is a living, synced stream. This is not a playlist on shuffle. It is real radio: every listener, anywhere in the world, hears the same song at the same second, the way they would tuning into an FM tower down the road.
In an age of media looking for reach, new avenues of communication are hard to come by. How about a streaming channel that is yours for the taking, 24/7 audio, for musicians, bands, companies, brands and whoever wants to send a message without interruption. Stations get their own public URL's and music from teh Aetherwave Community is streaming live all day every day. Broadcast playlists, podcast, advertisements and promotions. If you have a sound, a message or a business, can you afford not to broadcast globally for free?
