AeroWindow is, simply, an app to watch maps. Pick a channel and a satellite view slowly flies over the world — coastlines, rivers, mountains — while you do something else. No feed, no ads, no goal. Calm by design. Free to try, on every Apple platform plus Android.
I made this because I’m a map addict. I take the window seat every time, I doom-zoom Google Maps for no reason, and I once spent a couple years designing and trying to manufacture a globe. AeroWindow is kind of just the latest symptom.
It’s not trying to be much, you put it on and watch the world go by, that’s the whole thing. I wanted something calm that wasn’t another app yelling for my attention. It’s almost boring on purpose.
It’s niche. Most people don’t care about maps and that’s fine, it’s not really for them. But if you’re the type who has their face pressed against the window the whole flight, you might get it.
I just wanted a window for when I'm stuck inside. That's honestly the whole pitch. I didn't make it to get rich or go viral; I made it because I wanted it to exist. The free version's the real thing, and the paid unlock is basically a tip jar.

Watch maps, or don't. Either's fine by me.
Cheers.
