I built Adring because I miss the small, independent web: personal sites, blogs, and side projects that are interesting but often difficult to discover.
I wanted to create a way for these sites to support one another without ad budgets or another cross-site tracking network. With Adring, you verify your domain, add a small ad placement, and earn credits when an ad receives a confirmed view. You can then spend those credits to show your own ad on other participating sites. Credits cannot be purchased, transferred, or cashed out.
Abuse prevention became one of the hardest parts of the project. A confirmed view must remain at least 75% visible for two seconds. Credits stay pending for 24 hours while Adring checks concentrated connection patterns, reciprocal site pairs, and site- and network-level limits. The widget uses no third-party cookies, shared cross-site IDs, or persistent browser fingerprints.
Adring runs on Cloudflare Workers and D1 with Hono, React Router, and Drizzle.
The network is still early, and I’m looking for independent website owners who can help shape it. I would especially appreciate feedback on the credit model, the anti-abuse approach, and whether you would place this kind of ad on your own website.
