I built Adorely because of a WhatsApp forward.
Someone I love had a birthday, and the best I managed was the same "HBD 🎂" sticker everyone else sent. The photos were sitting in my gallery. The things I actually wanted to say were sitting in my head. What she got was a forward. The other option was an Instagram story, which disappears in 24 hours.
So I built a third one.
Adorely is a birthday page. A small private website you make for someone: their photos, a message you sat down and wrote, a song playing behind it. You share an invite link with friends and family, each of them adds their own wish, and by the time the day arrives it isn't only coming from you. On the birthday you send one link. It opens on any phone. No app, no sign up for the person receiving it.
Three decisions I've held onto:
One-time price, per page. ₹199 or ₹299. A birthday gift shouldn't renew every month. Building and previewing costs nothing.
Built for how India celebrates, which is on WhatsApp, at midnight, on a mid-range phone. Everything is designed to open from a chat link.
Private by default. Pages never show up in search, and you approve every wish before it goes live.

I'll be in the comments all day. And since it's the reason this exists: what's the most memorable birthday wish you've ever received? Nobody has ever answered "a text."
Love how simple this is, no app needed. One thing that would be great is adding a quick video clip option so friends can record a short birthday message right on the page, not just type. Would make it feel even more personal when the birthday person opens it.
