I was inspired by Outbid.lol and loved how ridiculously simple the concept was: brands pay for attention, and the more they spend, the more visible they become.
I wanted to take that idea one step further and solve the biggest problem I saw: user retention.
So I combined that model with the simplicity of the Chrome Dino game and turned the ads into the actual obstacles.
In AD//RUN, players come to compete, improve their score, and climb the leaderboard while advertisers become the obstacles they have to dodge.
Ads stay in the game forever, and the amount of exposure they receive is based on how much the advertiser has spent.
The goal was to create a loop where players have a reason to keep coming back, while brands get real, repeated exposure instead of just a static spot on a leaderboard.
