Actually Asked puts a FAQ section on your site, in your fonts and colours, not a chat bubble. Visitors ask their own question or highlight a sentence to ask about it. Answers come only from your pages, and the questions asked most join your FAQ.

Top comment

Hi everyone, I'm Petar, and I made Actually Asked. Most FAQ sections are written once, from guesses, and then never change. Chat bubbles cover the page and feel like a support desk. And nobody sees the questions visitors couldn't get answered. They just leave. So I built a FAQ section that sits in your page, in your own fonts and colors. Visitors can open an entry, ask their own question under it, or highlight any sentence on the page and ask about that. Answers come only from your pages, products, policies and files. If those don't cover it, the visitor can leave their email for you. The questions people ask most get added to your FAQ. Anything you edit stays the way you wrote it. Every Monday you get an email with what your pages couldn't answer. It's on the Shopify App Store as a theme block, in Framer's Marketplace as a plugin, in Claude as a connector and it works on WordPress, Webflow or any other site with two lines of HTML. You can also manage it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex over MCP. The free plan has 50 AI answers a month on one site, no card needed. I'll be here all day, so ask me anything. I'd love to know what you'd want it to do next.

Comment highlights

The highlight-a-sentence-to-ask idea would be great on tutorial pages, not just stores. On a coding lesson, the sentence someone highlights is usually exactly where the explanation lost them. Could the Monday report group unanswered questions by page section, so a writer knows which paragraph to rewrite rather than just which page?

Congrats on the launch! Love the name and the vibes of the product... everything seems really thoughtfully considered.

For the feature that allows someone to highlight text on the page and 'ask' a question about it -- does the product allow control over where that can + can't happen? For example, it might be odd to accidentally highlight UI text in a button or navigation or something and see the actually asked UI popup to ask a question about it.

Good luck with launch day!

Keeping a manually edited answer intact is a thoughtful detail. The weekly email with questions the site couldn't answer also gives the owner something concrete to fix.

Who hunted Actually Asked?

Actually Asked was hunted by Petar. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
