ACLOCK
Bypass Android battery killers with calendar hosting.
A minimalist, local-first utility app designed to fight aggressive Android OEM battery killers. By syncing your custom, complex cycles directly into a dedicated system calendar account, ALOCK ensures 100% reliable alerts even if the app process is completely killed. Purely offline, zero data tracking.
Hi PH community! 👋
I built ALOCK purely as a personal utility tool because I was sick of modern Android systems murdering background apps and messing up my recurring reminders.
In this v0.2.0 update, I dropped the head-on fight with OS task killers and refactored the engine to host tasks directly on the System Calendar. It works like a charm.
We are currently running a 14-day Closed Beta to meet Google Play requirements. If you love clean, offline-first tools, I’d be incredibly grateful if you could join our testing group (link below) and help us cross the finish line. Let me know your thoughts!
