AI-powered QuickBooks cleanup. Flat rate. Done in days.
Accounting Ketchup is AI-powered catch-up bookkeeping for QuickBooks Online. If your books are 1–24 months behind, we fix them. Flat rate per month of cleanup. No hourly billing. AI handles categorization and reconciliation, then a human bookkeeper reviews everything before delivery. Most catch-ups done in 3–7 business days. Pricing starts at $69/mo for deep cleans (13–24 months behind) up to $99/mo for quick fixes (1–3 months). 500+ businesses caught up. One invoice. Clean books.
Hey PH! JG here from the Ketchup team
We built Accounting Ketchup because every small business we talked to had the same problem: their books were behind, they felt guilty about it, and the solutions were either expensive ($1,500–$3,500 for a CPA catch-up) or required switching to a whole new platform.
So we built something simple. Connect your QuickBooks, tell us how far behind you are, get a flat price, and we clean it up — usually in under a week.
The AI does the heavy lifting (categorization, reconciliation, pattern matching), and a real human reviews everything before we hand it back. No subscription. No ongoing commitment. Just clean books.
Would love to hear what you think — especially if you've dealt with the "I know my books are a mess but I'll deal with it later" spiral. That's literally our entire target customer. :)
— JG
I lead design and brand at Holdings (the team behind Ketchup). My favorite part of this project was figuring out how to make something as boring as catch-up bookkeeping feel approachable.
Most accounting tools look like they were designed for accountants. We wanted this to feel like something a freelancer or small business owner would actually want to use — not dread. The whole experience is four steps: tell us how far behind you are, connect QuickBooks, get a flat price, and we handle the rest. No phone calls, no intake forms, no "a representative will contact you."
The other thing I'm proud of — we made the pricing dead simple. You see your estimated total before you commit. No hourly surprises. That transparency was a deliberate design choice, not just a business decision.
If you run a small business and your books stress you out, this was built for you.
I'm on the team building this. One thing JG didn't mention — the biggest surprise for us was how many people are 10+ months behind and just… living with it. They're running real businesses, making money, but their books are a black box.
The flat-rate-per-month model was intentional. Most catch-up bookkeeping services either charge hourly (so the messier your books, the more you pay) or quote a flat project fee that's terrifying ($2K–$4K). We flipped it — the further behind you are, the lower your per-month rate. Deep Clean is $69/mo.
The AI piece is what makes that pricing work. It can categorize and reconcile thousands of transactions in minutes. A human bookkeeper doing that same work manually is looking at 40+ hours. We still have a human review everything before delivery, but AI handles the grunt work.
If you're a freelancer or small business owner reading this and your books are behind — you're not alone, and it doesn't have to be a big expensive thing to fix anymore.
