AAOS Logging is for drivers who want useful driving insights while keeping control of their recorded trip data. It runs directly in compatible Android Automotive OS vehicles—not Android Auto phone projection.
In the car: automatic trip history, live read-only vehicle information and efficiency insights. Available signals depend on your car and manufacturer.
On your Android phone or tablet: the Companion reviews synchronized recordings, with trip comparisons, same-route grouping, Business/Private tags or hidden trips, detailed analysis graphs, maps and eco-driving coaching. Companion Google Play access may be limited; check its product page for availability.
Your archive stays in your vehicle, with optional sync to your own Google Drive account. McageSoft does not operate a trip-data server. JSON and ZIP archives keep recordings portable. Optional Google Drive sync and coordinate-based map/weather requests involve their respective providers.
For Home Assistant users, our separate open AAOS Logging Drive integration imports completed, synchronized trips from your Drive into dashboards and automations. Install it through HACS as a custom repository: https://github.com/devmcage/aaos...
The in-car app is a one-time purchase, with no required subscription. The apps themselves are proprietary; the integration code and data formats are open.
