Hi everyone! I'm Steve.
I built A Tribal Smile because I missed discovering music the old-fashioned way.
Instead of endless algorithmic playlists, I wanted a radio station where songs from wildly different genres could sit comfortably next to one another. Electronic might be followed by psychedelic rock, then a jazz quartet, then ambient, then something completely unexpected.
The app has gradually grown into a full Apple ecosystem experience across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and CarPlay, complete with animated fractal visuals, album artwork, recently played tracks, widgets, and plenty of tiny details that were simply fun to build.
