I realised most of my weeks were disappearing working on side projects, and I had nothing to remember the year by. I built this simple web app to try to encourage myself to try something new each week. It started as a simple HTML page, then I got friends to do it with me, then they told me they wanted their own version!
I'm not a fan of habit apps at all, so I looked around and found nothing out there like this. I did around 40 new activities last year, and I feel I have become more interesting. It has helped with conversations and to feel more outgoing.
I made decisions to keep it lightweight and privacy-focused, but that ended up making things a lot harder. Trying to build something engaging without accounts or third-party analytics/tools became a balancing act. I should have kept it simple, but privacy has been on my mind lately.
I would love any sort of feedback or advice on this project and any ideas to make it even better.
