A digital graveyard for forgotten startups, where cold ambitions sleep and lost code lies in frost—no mourning, just monuments to the internet's silent failures.
Welcome to 404Tomb—a digital graveyard for the internet’s fallen startups. 🪦
I built this because I hate seeing projects we poured passion into die in silence. Every tombstone here is a monument to effort, ambition, and (yes) failure—but at least they won’t vanish without a trace.
You can help us expand this digital graveyard.
Do you know of a fallen startup that deserves a place here? Or do you have a eulogy for one that meant something to you? Drop a name, share a memory, or just wander the cemetery of dead tech.
Which dead product haunts you the most? (RIP, Google Reader.🍃)
Every inventor and innovator have their own graveyard of failed projects in the back of their mind. A cool idea to show that they are not alone in this.
Good going, Jam!
This is beautifully tragic. 💀
So many late-night builds, hopeful launches, and “this might be the one” moments buried in silence—finally getting the memorial they deserve.
Also, shoutout to Vine and Sunrise Calendar—still not over it. Love what you’re doing here. Subscribed to mourn (and maybe heal).
Let’s be honest—most products fail. For every success story, there are countless others that fade into obscurity. This isn’t pessimism, just the reality of how things work. The 80/20 rule applies here too: a few thrive, most don’t.
Great humor, Creative idea, Beautiful UI, Interesting CSS names!
One thing though, missing product categories like Design Tools, Graphics & Design, or Animation.
Otherwise… where’s @Trangram supposed to go in the future? 😅🧭
i like the idea but the design is ass and looks cheap and outdated. something more simplistic or minimalist like the monospace web would have been better
I miss google reader. Damn that was good. Imagine google reader in the AI era. With TTS and AI Summary etc. Id pay for that!
What a cool way to play frankenstein, going around the graveyard to see which one deserves being tweaked and revived.
Very cool, is there a way to revive the startups , raise them from the dead. Maybe a new startup can use the old tech and integrate
I have a several of mine to extend your database 😅
almost no evidence about they are exist, but I will find something on my disk, they need to rest in peace
This was so unexpected lol. I love the design and the cozy atmosphere. And the music was the cherry on top when I clicked on a startup.
404Tomb may become a great source of information alongside Wayback Machine! And I hope my startup never reaches it lol.
Great stuff!
Congrats on the launch, Jam! 404Tomb is a unique concept that honors the efforts behind forgotten startups. It's great to see a space dedicated to acknowledging both successes and failures.
