I built 38-0 because every football fan I know has the same argument: "What's the greatest Premier League XI of all time?" Lists get shouted, names get googled, nobody wins.
So I turned it into a game. You spin a wheel that lands on a real club + season (Arsenal 03-04, Leicester 15-16, anything), draft one player at a time, and build an all-time XI across every era. Then a Monte Carlo simulator runs 1,000 seasons to see if your dream team can actually back up the talk — and chase the impossible perfect 38-0.
Two modes: Classic (ratings visible, build the strongest XI) and Expert (ratings hidden — trust your football brain, Henry vs Salah is vibes-only).
A few things I'm proud of:
- The simulator isn't random — it uses a Poisson goal model with formation fit, position fit, and legend chemistry baked in. A striker in goal actually tanks your season.
- All-time player pool across every PL era, not just current squads.
- No signup, free, plays in the browser.
