Todoist meets ChatGPT inside your browser

What if your to-do list met ChatGPT directly in your browser? 2-b.ai combines the structure of a task manager (like Todoist) with the brain of an LLM (like ChatGPT). Highlight-to-Capture: Highlight text to turn it into tasks from any tab. AI Planning: Instantly break down goals into actionable steps. Chat to Execute: Ask the AI to help you finish your work.

Hey PH 👋

I’m Dongjin, co-founder of 2-b.ai. I love using structured tools like Todoist, and I love the intelligence of ChatGPT. But keeping them separate was killing my flow. I’d copy a task from Slack, paste it into my to-do list, and then open ChatGPT to ask for help drafting a reply. I wanted a tool where these two worlds collide.

So we built 2-b.ai.

It’s a browser-native layer that captures context like a highlighter and executes work like an AI agent.

The idea is simple:
Context-First: Highlight text on any page to create a task instantly.
AI-Powered: It automatically breaks down the task (Plan) and helps you write or research (Execute).
Basically, it’s Todoist meets ChatGPT inside your browser.

We’re curious to hear your thoughts: Do you prefer keeping your AI and To-Do list separate, or would you use a hybrid like this? Thanks for the support! 🚀

Awesome Dongjing! Todoist meeting AI inside a browser sounds like everything I need for my daily routine. I'll give it a try and I'll back with deeper feedback. all the best here!

Even if I'm pissed you got #1 haha ( its fine I got #2) , this product looks great guys! Congrats, well deserved!

congrats on the launch! any plans to add deeper integrations (Notion, Linear, Jira) or keep it browser-native by design?

This actually solves a real workflow break Excited to test it more and share more feedback

Are you planning to support different LLM models (like Claude or Gemini) in the future, or is it exclusively powered by a specific engine for now?

How does the AI handle task prioritization? Can it automatically suggest which of my captured tasks are most urgent based on the context it gathered from my browser tabs?

Nice product, very helpful for my work, often collaborating in various web pages at work, and for the desktop todolist frequent switching and updates make me feel very troublesome, it is a very good choice in the browser, if you can add task completion to let me write some summary, it would be better

This is a really interesting direction. The moment tasks stop being static checkboxes and start understanding context, things change fast.

Hi! Do you have an affiliate or referral program for creators?
I’m planning to feature this tool in a YouTube video.

I constantly lose context switching between Todoist and ChatGPT, so this hybrid approach actually makes a lot of sense.

What I find interesting about 2-b.ai is that it seems to position itself less as a tool that gives answers, and more as something that helps users think through ambiguity.

A lot of AI products optimize for speed and confidence, sometimes at the cost of oversimplifying messy decisions. 2-b.ai feels like it’s more comfortable sitting with uncertainty and structure, which is a very different — and arguably more human — design stance.

As a first impression, that restraint makes the product feel thoughtful rather than over-assertive, which is refreshing in an AI landscape that often prioritizes certainty over clarity.

Nice concept Todoist meets ChatGPT in the browser is instantly clear 👍

One quick thought: the killer moment seems like highlight → task → AI plan in one flow. If you show that in a short GIF or clip, people will get it immediately and conersions should jump.

This is a really interesting approach. I’ve tried mixing task managers with AI before, but most tools either overcomplicate things or slow down the workflow.

Embedding this directly in the browser feels like the right move — especially for people who live inside tabs all day. Curious to see how it handles context switching between tasks over time. Nice work 👏

Congrats on the launch! I'm really intrigued by the 'AI Planning' aspect. How does the model handle complex, multi-step goals? Can it prioritize tasks based on deadlines found in the highlighted text, or is it purely for breaking them down? The UI looks super clean and unintrusive. Upvoted!

Congrats on the launch! I like that this doesn’t try to replace everything at once, but instead lives directly in the browser where most work already happens. Does 2-b.ai. aim to reduce decision fatigue by auto-structuring tasks, or do users still stay very hands-on with how much the AI plans and executes?

Congrats on the launch! I really like the idea of making tasks context-first instead of manually recreating them in another tool, highlighting straight from the page feels very natural.
