Hey everyone! 👋 I'm thrilled to launch Zlatcoin today, and I'm excited to share why this project means so much to me.
The Problem I Was Solving:
I'm a crypto trader myself, and I got frustrated with the fragmented experience. I'd have one app open for charts, another for portfolio tracking, a third for news, and yet another for alternative assets like gold. Every time I wanted to check my portfolio or execute a trade, I'd context-switch between 4–5 different platforms. It was inefficient, confusing, and honestly, it made me make emotional trading decisions because I didn't have a clear, unified view of my assets.
I realized I wasn't alone. Thousands of traders face the same problem: scattered data, emotional decisions, and limited diversification options.
What Inspired the Vision:
I wanted to build a single platform where traders could:
See everything in one place — crypto, gold, ZLC credits, all on one dashboard
Make smarter decisions — AI-powered recommendations based on real market data
Diversify easily — access both crypto and alternative assets without switching apps
Trade with confidence — transparent pricing, real-time data, and bank-grade security
How the Process Evolved:
When I started, I thought I'd just build a simple portfolio tracker. But as I talked to traders and investors, I realized they wanted more:
Real crypto.com integration — not simulated trades, but actual market data and OTC trading
Live gold prices — Yahoo Finance integration for real-time spot prices
AI analysis — LLM-powered recommendations that actually make sense
Auto-trading — set it and forget it, let strategies execute automatically
KYC & compliance — because fintech needs to be responsible
So I evolved the project from a simple tracker into a full-featured trading platform. The MVP took months, but it was worth it.
