ZKRYPT was hunted by Zkrypt. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. Hi Product Hunt! I built ZKRYPT because almost every chat app still asks for your phone number, and handing it to strangers, dates or new contacts never felt right.
ZKRYPT gives you an anonymous 8-character ID instead. Messages, calls, groups and files are encrypted on your phone, and messages are erased from our servers within 12 hours. It's a one-time purchase, with no subscription, no ads and no trackers. Android only for now.
I'd love your honest feedback. What would make you switch from the messenger you use today?
