YTsummarizer 2.0
AI summaries for YouTube. No subscription. Yours forever.
Three things make YTsummarizer stand out: Pay once, $29 — forever. No subscriptions. No monthly limits. Summaries worth re-reading — full analytical write-ups with a Key Takeaways section, not throwaway bullet points. A searchable library of every video you've summarized, saved to your account.
I'm Sahil, and I built YTsummarizer.app because I was tired of two things:
Watching 90-minute videos to find the 5 minutes I actually needed.
Paying $10–20/month to every AI tool I touch, forever.
So I made the tool I wanted: paste a YouTube URL, get a genuinely useful summary, and save it to a personal library you can search and revisit anytime.
Three things I focused on:
Summary quality. Most YouTube summarizers spit out a generic bullet list you'll never reopen. YTsummarizer gives you a full analytical write-up — a sectioned breakdown of the video's arguments, followed by a clean Key Takeaways list at the end. It's the kind of summary I'd actually save and re-read. I've pinned a real example in the comments so you can see the output before you sign up.
One-time $29. No subscription. You pay once. Use it forever. No tiers, no "summaries remaining this month," no surprise price hike in 6 months. I genuinely don't understand why summarizing videos requires a recurring bill.
Your library, not mine. Every summary you generate gets saved to your account. Search it, revisit it, export it. It becomes a personal knowledge base of everything you've watched — which, honestly, is the part I use most myself.
Would love your feedback — especially from anyone who's tried other summarizers and been disappointed. What would make this a daily tool for you?
