Also features ci/cd, a built-in pty terminal, and some other features. You can use it to code from anywhere. You can move work from your phone, talk to the AI to help me improve the projects, and prototype everything, then switch from phone to PC whenever you want. In 2019, development started on a markup language called Yr — a way to write HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Bash in one single .yr file. The goal was simple: stop context-switching between languages and files for every project.
Yrkit grew out of that. First as a simple editor to test Yr code. Then a visual builder. Then CI/CD. Then database management. Five years later it became a complete platform — not by grand design, but because every tool that was missing got built in.
Yrkit is used daily to build and ship real client work — scrapers, APIs, sites — across devices, including phones. Not as a demo. As the actual tool. It is in active development and running in production. The core is stable. New features ship regularly. If something breaks, it gets fixed fast.
