Yi Ask
A calm decision-reflection tool inspired by the I Ching
Yi Ask helps you pause on a yes-or-no question, choose two trigrams through a gentle timed interaction, and receive a structured reading with a direction, conditions, and a practical next step. Inspired by Meihua Yishu and the I Ching, it is designed for reflection rather than certainty. No account is needed to try the web app.
Hi Product Hunt! I built Yi Ask for the moments when a question keeps circling in your head and you need a clearer way to look at it.
Yi Ask combines the traditional structure of Meihua Yishu and the I Ching with a calm, guided interaction: ask one focused yes-or-no question, pause while choosing two trigrams, then receive a structured reflection with a direction, conditions, risks, and a practical next step.
I designed it as a perspective tool, not a certainty machine. It does not claim to predict the future or replace professional advice. The web app is multilingual, privacy-conscious, and available to try without an account.
I would especially love feedback on three things: Is the value clear within the first minute? Does the ritual feel calming rather than gimmicky? And do the structured readings help you turn uncertainty into a next step?
