I built Xtify because I was tired of two bad options for meeting notes: (1) a bot joins my call, sits there as a visible participant, and someone else's server ends up with my conversation, or (2) I manually record and paste a transcript into ChatGPT after every meeting — which forgets everything the second I close the tab. Xtify takes system audio straight off your Mac (no bot, no virtual audio device, no "recording bot has joined the meeting" message) and auto-detects Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack Huddle, and Discord. So it just works in the background. Your audio never leaves your Mac. Only the transcript goes to the cloud for AI processing, and that's entirely on your terms. What comes out the other side isn't just a transcript; it's decisions, action items with owners, risks, and follow-ups, all searchable across every meeting you've ever had. The goal isn't "better notes," it's a memory layer, so you (and your future self) never have to ask "wait, who owned that?" again.
