XID
Edge-native identity platform on Cloudflare Workers
XID is an open-source identity platform built for Cloudflare Workers. One codebase gives you Hosted Auth with passkey-first sign-in, a full OIDC/OAuth 2.1 identity provider, multi-tenant organizations with RBAC, enterprise federation (SAML, OIDC, SCIM), and SDKs for every major framework. Self-host on your own Cloudflare account with the full feature set - no tiering, no license checks. MIT licensed.

Hi PH! I built XID because self-hosting identity still means choosing between heavy Java stacks or SaaS lock-in with per-MAU pricing. I wanted Auth0/Clerk-class DX that runs entirely on Cloudflare's edge: one codebase, one wrangler deploy, your own account, your own data. The latest release adds enterprise org structures (OrgUnit trees with reporting lines) and project access requests with approval workflows, so internal apps can gate access behind manager approval with JIT expiring grants. Everything is MIT, no feature gates. Happy to answer anything!
