We built Xakal because hiring is broken on both sides of the table. Candidates pour hours into applications that vanish into a black hole, while recruiters drown in unstructured resumes and gut-feel decisions that are slow, inconsistent, and often unfair. The process that's supposed to match people with opportunity ends up frustrating everyone involved. We set out to fix that. Xakal is a hiring platform designed to make recruitment faster, more structured, and more transparent — giving candidates a fair shot and giving employers the signal they actually need to make confident decisions, without the noise. Our approach evolved a lot along the way. We started focused on one piece of the workflow, but every conversation with candidates and hiring teams pushed us to think about the entire journey — from discovery to assessment to the final decision. The result is a more end-to-end experience than we originally imagined, shaped directly by the people living this problem every day.
