x402stats

Independent x402 stats: organic volume, wash-trades removed

x402 is how AI agents pay over HTTP — USDC micropayments via the 402 status code. Raw on-chain totals count wash trading, self-dealing and facilitator settlement wallets as revenue. x402stats indexes 10+ facilitators across every chain, filters the noise, and publishes both numbers: daily volume, active sellers, paying agents, and facilitator market share. Published methodology, free CSV/JSON under CC BY 4.0, plus x402-payable endpoints for agents. Independent, read-only — never touches funds.

Hi Product Hunt! Maker here. I built x402stats because I kept seeing wildly different numbers for how big the x402 economy actually is. Raw on-chain totals count wash trading, self-dealing and facilitator settlement wallets as "revenue" — so I indexed 10+ facilitators across every chain, wrote a filtering methodology, and now publish both numbers side by side. Right now only about 45% of the last 30 days' raw volume looks organic. Everything is reproducible: the methodology is public, the data is free (CSV/JSON, CC BY 4.0), and AI agents can buy the same feed over x402 itself — the exact payment rail the site measures. It's read-only and never touches funds. Two things I'd genuinely love feedback on: 1. The organic filter (≥$100 revenue in the window, ≥3 distinct buyers, average payment ≥$0.001) — too strict, too loose? 2. What other metrics would you want tracked — per-chain splits, seller retention, something else? Happy to answer anything about the methodology.
