Here's the honest story of why I built this:
I kept opening Notion to write a blog post and
ending up reorganising my task system instead.
Google Docs had comments and a toolbar full of
buttons I've never touched. Word opened with a
ribbon and a blank stare.
Every tool I tried was built for collaboration,
formatting, or project management. None of them
were built for the moment when you just need to
think out loud.
So I built Writing With. Open it and your cursor
is already blinking. No account, no setup, no
sidebar full of everything you haven't done yet.
A few things I'm particularly proud of:
→ Autosave that literally cannot be turned off
→ AI tools that stay completely hidden until
you open the sidebar (grammar, style rewrites,
SEO assistant, headline generator)
→ Guided Writing: input your title and content
type, get a structural outline inserted into
the editor. The AI builds the skeleton.
You write the substance.
→ Contextual nudges when you're staring at a
blank page — "The first sentence doesn't have
