worthitforyou
Honest BUY/WAIT/SKIP verdicts on Amazon deals
Amazon says 40% off. Was it ever that price? We read a full year of what a product actually sold for and give one straight answer: BUY, WAIT, SKIP or FAIR. We earn nothing on Amazon links, which is why we'll tell you not to buy.
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built worthitforyou because Amazon "deals" kept lying to me — a big struck-out "was" price that never actually held.
It judges each product only on its real 12-month price history, so the verdict can't be gamed or bought — it's just math on the price data. Every verdict also shows a "fair price" (the most you can pay and still get a real deal) plus the actual chart, so you can check my work.
There's a weekly Fake Deal Index too: this week ~25% of the advertised "sales" I scanned weren't actually cheaper than usual (back-to-school gear was worse — 30%).
Free, no account, installable to your phone's home screen. I'd genuinely love feedback — especially where the verdict feels wrong. What would make you trust a tool like this?
