World Stock Market Clock
Know when every market opens and closes, before it happens
Most market apps show you prices. This one shows you time. World Stock Market Clock tracks when 60+ exchanges open and close, in your local time, and reminds you before the bell. Live Activities and Dynamic Island put the countdown on your Lock Screen, with Home and Lock Screen widgets too. It handles the parts people get wrong: exchange holidays, early closes, half days, and daylight saving shifts that don't line up between countries. No account, no tracking, no stock picks.
I could never keep track of when markets were actually open. I'd check my brokerage app, get "Market Closed," and have no idea whether that meant a holiday, an early close, or that I'd just lost track of the hour.
So I started building a clock. I figured it would take a weekend.
The thing that surprised me: the calendar is the hard part. Half days around holidays, early closes nobody announces loudly, exchange holidays that don't line up between countries, and daylight saving that shifts on different dates depending on where you are. Getting that right for 60+ markets took me longer than the entire rest of the app, and it's the reason I couldn't just use an existing world clock.
The rest is what I actually wanted on day one: a reminder before the opening and closing bell, and a countdown on my Lock Screen so I don't have to open anything at all.
No accounts, no tracking, no stock picks. It's a clock.
Happy to answer anything. And I genuinely want to hear which exchanges I'm missing, that's the fastest way for me to improve this.
