Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built WorkPose because I needed it myself.
After being on parental leave, I was getting ready to go back to my developer job and long days at the desk again. Around that time I started dealing with back pain, and it made me realize how many small desk habits were probably making things worse.
And honestly, with babies and small children, sleep is not exactly perfect either. When you’re tired, it’s much easier to forget posture, skip breaks, sit too long, lose focus, or just push through the day without noticing how your body feels.
Bad posture, weird laptop angles, poor lighting, eye strain, long meetings, sitting too long without moving, drifting focus — none of it feels like a big deal in the moment, but it adds up.
I looked around at posture tools, but a lot of them felt too narrow or too heavy. Install an app, create an account, keep something running in the background, etc.
I wanted something simpler and more useful during a real workday:
Open the browser
Run a quick camera check
See what looks off
Get a small nudge when you need to reset
Fix one thing right away
Leave without signing up if you want
That’s what WorkPose is.
It’s not only about posture. WorkPose also helps monitor focus and can nudge you to stand, take a break, reset your posture, or refocus when you probably need it most.
It includes 44 free camera-based checks for posture, eyes, desk fatigue, meeting readiness, focus, and desk setup. The free tools run in the browser, and the camera feed is not uploaded.
Notifications are optional, so you can use it as a one-off check or as a lightweight workday companion.
