Hey Product Hunt! 👋 WordRush started from a simple frustration — every word game I loved was either too slow, too solo, or too low-stakes. Wordle is a once-a-day ritual. Scrabble takes 45 minutes. I wanted something that felt more like a sport — fast, head-to-head, with real pressure. The core idea came from watching how differently people's brains fire under a countdown timer vs. a relaxed puzzle. Speed changes everything. A word you'd solve in 10 seconds becomes a completely different challenge when someone else's score is climbing in real-time beside yours. The hardest problem to solve wasn't the game mechanics — it was toxicity vs. engagement. Real-time multiplayer games live and die by their community feel, but open chat is a nightmare to moderate. That pushed us toward Trash Talk Cards — a curated set of taunts ("Think faster! 🧠", "Blame the wifi 📶") that let you trash talk without crossing a line. Players love it. We're a small indie team and this is a true labor of love. Would love any feedback from the PH community — especially from word game fans who've always wanted something with a bit more edge. 🔥
