A key difference is that I tailored the game to be more accessible for vision-impaired gamers, inspired by my wife, so the design puts extra focus on clarity, readability, and usability.
Hi Product Hunt! I built Word Tigers because I wanted a word game that felt polished, competitive, and worth coming back to every day, but the biggest inspiration was personal. My wife is blind, and I wanted to create a word game she could enjoy too. That pushed me to think more carefully about clarity, readability, and overall accessibility while designing the experience.
Word Tigers combines Solo Play, Time Attack, Categories, Puzzle of the Day, and real-time Head-to-Head play, along with streaks, Tiger XP, badges, and leaderboards.
