WolfeWriter

Story memory for long-form fiction writers

WolfeWriter is a native Mac app for fiction writers. It keeps the manuscript central while extracting candidate story memory, supporting semantic search, and helping build a story graph from long-form fiction. The focus is control: extracted facts are linked back to manuscript evidence and stay review-gated until the writer accepts them.

Top comment

Hi Product Hunt, I built WolfeWriter because I wanted AI writing support that did not turn the app into a chatbot or silently mutate the story. The core problem I am working on is narrative state: extracting characters, relationships, events, and continuity facts from long manuscripts, including multilingual prose, then making those facts useful through semantic search and a story graph. WolfeWriter keeps this review-gated. Extracted facts start as candidates linked to manuscript evidence. The writer can accept, ignore, or revise them before they become stronger memory. I’d love feedback from fiction writers, Mac app users, and anyone who has worked on semantic search, entity extraction, knowledge graphs, or long-document retrieval.
