Wobbly Pebble

Every visitor gets a unique, 3D-printable candle holder

Wobbly Pebble generates a one-of-one parametric candle holder just for you, no two are ever alike. Claim yours, download the STL/OBJ file to print at home, or order a physical print. Each piece is algorithmically designed with OpenSCAD and engraved with its own unique ID. Yours forever. Try it at wobbly-pebble.com — we'd love your feedback.

Hey PH 👋 I built Wobbly Pebble because I wanted to explore what it means for a physical object to be truly one of a kind. Every visitor gets a procedurally generated candle holder — computed on the server with OpenSCAD, rendered in Three.js in the browser. The parameters (height, twist, flutes, rim type) are seeded from randomness so no two are mathematically identical. Each piece is engraved on the base with its own 8-character ID and "ONE OF ONE". You can: - Claim it (ties it to your email) - Buy the STL/OBJ for $5 to print yourself - Order a physical print (coming soon via Treatstock) The whole stack is React + FastAPI + SQLite + OpenSCAD running on a single EC2 instance. Happy to go deep on any of the technical choices. Would love to know: does the one-of-one concept resonate with you? And what other objects would you want generated this way?

Who hunted Wobbly Pebble?

Wobbly Pebble was hunted by Philip Brechler.
