I built wipestory because my own camera roll was buried under 4,000+ screenshots I'd never opened twice and every "cleaner" app I tried wanted a subscription and uploaded my photos somewhere.
So the rules for this one were simple:
• Everything runs on your device. No account, no uploads, no tracking.
• Nothing gets deleted until you confirm and even then it goes to Recently Deleted for 30 days.
• It should feel fast and honestly a bit satisfying: swipe right to keep, left to toss, like Tinder for your screenshots.
It's completely free right now. This is my first solo iOS app (it got rejected 3 times before approval, which was an adventure of its own 😅).
I'd genuinely love your feedback what would make you use this weekly? Categories (receipts/chats/memes) and duplicate detection are next on the roadmap.
