Winq

Control your Mac with a look and a wink

Gaze focus switching: look at a window and it becomes the active one. Per-eye wink clicks: left wink and right wink are separate actions. Face-gesture shortcuts: map gestures to the actions you use most. Notch island: a small live indicator in the notch area shows what Winq detected. No extra hardware: it works with your Mac’s built-in camera, with a short guided calibration. Private by design: all face tracking runs on your Mac, and no video leaves the device.

First comment Hey everyone 👋 I’m Mahmoud, the maker of Winq. Winq started with a small frustration. I work across many windows all day, and so much of my time went into moving my hand to the mouse just to switch focus or click something. I wondered whether the camera already on my Mac could handle that for me. Winq lets you control your Mac with your face: 👀 Look at a window to focus it 😉 Wink your left or right eye to click 🙂 Use face gestures to trigger shortcuts 🏝️ See every action confirmed in a small notch island It works with your built-in camera and doesn’t need any extra hardware. [Everything runs on-device.] Launch offer: the first 100 users get a free lifetime license 🎁 Winq is still early, and I’d really value your feedback: Which gestures would you want to map? Where did calibration or detection feel off? Would this help you, or someone you know, with accessibility needs? I’ll be here all day answering questions. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏

Winq was hunted by Mahmoud Galal. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
