I built Wield after repeatedly running into the same problem with AI coding agents: they could generate good code, but complex work still lost context between planning, implementation, review and testing. I spent too much time repeating instructions, correcting incomplete handoffs, and checking whether “finished” work was actually ready to ship.
Wield turns that repeated guidance into a structured engineering system for Codex & Claude Code. It includes 26 focused skills, 13 specialized agents, shared engineering rules and multi agent workflows for planning, building, debugging, reviewing, testing, and shipping software.
The biggest lesson while building Wield was that adding more agents isn’t enough. Each agent needs a deliberately scoped role, the right context, and a clear definition of done. That became the foundation of the product: one request comes in, specialists handle each stage, and verification closes the loop.
