Widport

Intent-driven experiences for websites and applications

Widport turns user intent into grounded, policy-aware experiences for websites and applications. Instead of limiting AI to a chat response, Widport can answer, navigate, collect information, request confirmation, trigger bounded actions, or hand off to a human. It combines structured intent, authorized evidence, and application policy to decide what should happen next. Use it as a support interface, conversational workflow layer, or intent-driven front end for AI-powered products.

Top comment

We built Widport because AI interfaces are still too often reduced to a chat box. But users do not always need another answer. Sometimes they need to navigate somewhere, provide information, confirm a decision, start a workflow, or reach a human. Widport is our attempt to make the interface itself respond to intent. It combines structured intent, grounded evidence, and application policy to decide what the next interaction should be. That can mean: * answering with grounded information, * asking for missing details, * opening the right path, * collecting structured input, * requesting confirmation, * triggering a bounded action, * or handing the conversation to a person. The goal is to move from “AI that talks” toward interfaces that can adapt safely to what the user is actually trying to accomplish. Widport can also work together with IntentParse and GQueries, but it is designed as its own experience layer for websites and applications. I’d love feedback from people building support systems, marketplaces, agent interfaces, and conversational products. What should an AI interface be able to become beyond chat?
