Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built WhiteBackground because I kept watching sellers do the same thing 200 times a week: open Photoshop, select subject, miss an edge, fix the edge, add a white layer, export, resize for Amazon, repeat.
Three things we focused on:
1. White is not a template. We don't just remove the background and leave it transparent. We fill it with exact RGB(255,255,255) — the value Amazon's image requirements actually specify.
2. Marketplace-ready sizing. Export at the dimensions listings need, instead of exporting then resizing.
3. No sign-up wall. Upload and download without an account. There's a free allowance every day; if you process catalogs, Pro is $9.9/mo.
What's honest about the free tier: free images come out at up to 800px — enough for a listing thumbnail test, not enough for a full product page. That's the trade for not putting a paywall in front of your first image.
I'd love to hear what edge cases you throw at it. Soft hair, glass, transparent products, fur — those are where every background remover gets exposed, and I want to know which one breaks ours first.
