Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm CS — solo maker behind Whispen.
I built Whispen because I'm bilingual and tired of the
copy-paste shuffle: dictate in Chinese → copy → ChatGPT →
"translate to English" → copy → paste into the message.
Every. Single. Time.
So I built a keyboard that does it inline. People liked it,
but they kept asking:
"Can it work on Mac?" → I built the Mac app (signed,
notarized, Sparkle auto-updates).
"Can I ask it things, not just dictate?" → Ask Whispen
(⌃⌥Space). Uses Apple Intelligence on-device when
available, falls back to cloud. Web search via Brave
with citations.
"Where do my dictations go?" → Voice Notes — Notion-
style, fully searchable, RTF.
"中文/日本語/Deutsch UI?" → 14 languages.
