Whispeak
Private meeting transcripts and follow-ups for desktop calls
Whispeak is a desktop companion built around user ownership of conversation data, not a cloud-first recording app. Audio stays with the user, and we plan to add end-to-end encryption to strengthen that model further. Beyond transcription, we see Whispeak becoming a private conversation memory layer for AI-native workflows, including a user's own digital twin and local AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, and OpenClaw working directly with data on the user's computer.
Top comment
I built Whispeak after seeing how much useful context gets lost right after calls. Most tools either focus on generic meeting summaries or require users to hand over their recordings. I wanted a workflow that starts on desktop, fits real web meetings, and keeps audio ownership with the user. The goal was to make transcripts, follow-ups, and conversation history easy to revisit later, while building toward a more private conversation memory layer for AI-native workflows.
