Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built WhereToMove because choosing where to live in London meant juggling a dozen tabs, crime maps, Google Maps for commute, flat hunting sites, broadband check, and still ending up with a gut feeling instead of an answer.
WhereToMove pulls it into one place. Two ways to use it:
- Address Search: pick any London address and see what's around it: amenities, walking distances, transport, crime, noise, air quality, and local data.
- Area Search: set what matters (commute time, budget, safety, demographics, etc.) and the map highlights every area that matches, so you can discover places you'd never have thought to look.
Every neighbourhood also gets a plain-English guide with scores across six dimensions, built from official sources (UK Police API, ONS, Ofsted, TfL, Defra, Ofcom, HM Land Registry, OpenStreetMap — all credited on /data-sources).
It's London-only for now and 8 boroughs deep with neighbourhood-level detail so far. I'm adding more deliberately to keep quality high. I'd genuinely love feedback on which data you'd want next and which areas to prioritise.
