Where2Go.at
Discover 500+ daily events in Vienna
Built by a Viennese developer who spent every Friday jumping between 10+ different portals, websites, and Instagram accounts just to find out what's happening tonight. That frustration became where2go.at. 500+ events daily across clubs, concerts, cinema, culture and art – all in one place, always Vienna, always free. It's not perfect yet. I'm improving it every single day and I genuinely want to hear what's missing and what you'd love to see. Try it and tell me what you think.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Alexander, the developer behind where2go.at. I built this because every Friday I found myself jumping between wien.info, Facebook Events, Instagram stories, and random venue websites just to figure out what's happening in Vienna tonight. It was exhausting – and I knew I couldn't be the only one. Small disclaimer: I studied business, not computer science. I had zero programming experience when I started this. Everything you see on where2go.at – the scraping, the database, the UI – I figured out from scratch over the last months with a lot of trial, error, and late nights. I'm telling you this not to brag, but because I think it says something about how broken the Vienna events landscape really is. I also leveraged AI tools throughout the entire build – GitHub Copilot, Perplexity, and others – not as a shortcut, but as a force multiplier. AI is what made it possible for me as a solo non-developer to build, debug, and ship a production-ready platform. It's still far from perfect, and I'm shipping improvements literally every day. But it already covers 500+ events daily across clubs, concerts, cinema, culture and more – all Vienna, all free. One thing that's not live yet: the ability for venues and organizers to submit their own events. I deliberately held this back because I wanted to get the data quality and curation right first – the moment anyone can submit anything, you end up with spam, duplicates, and outdated listings. I'd rather launch lean and expand carefully than drown the feed in noise. It's coming soon though. If you run events in Vienna, reply here – I'll add you to the early access list manually. I'd love to hear from you: - What features would make this actually useful for you? - What's missing? - If you've been to Vienna or live there – does this solve a real problem for you? All feedback welcome. Let's make Vienna's event scene easier to navigate. 🇦🇹
