I'm Mira, the designer behind Wesal — a serious marriage platform built for the Jordanian and Arab market.
The idea came from a real problem: existing marriage apps lack trust, privacy, and seriousness. Anyone can message anyone, photos are public, and there's no way to verify who you're really talking to.
Wesal solves this with:
Mandatory ID verification for every user
Women's photos blurred until they approve
Formal connection requests only — no random messages
A seriousness score based on a 6-question test
