I'm Becki, co-founder of Weftly. I want to tell you why we built this the way we did. I'm trying to help people tell their stories through our local grassroots news site YouTube channel, The Woven Record, and we needed to be able to scale the video creation and publishing process.
I started using Claude Code to handle the parts of video publishing that are necessary, but not fun. Every other tool wanted me to sign up, pick a plan, and pay $20/month for features I'd use four times. Or it couldn't be called from a script or an agent.
So we built Weftly. No accounts or subscriptions. Pay per job. It works from your browser or from inside Claude via MCP. Same API, same price, two ways in.
