WeekNote
Jot notes all week, AI writes your weekly report
WeekNote is a week-centred notebook. Capture work and life as it happens, then let AI turn your notes into a clear weekly or monthly report in one tap. Free on Android and web, with an Android home-screen widget and optional cloud sync.
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm the solo maker of WeekNote.
The problem: Every Friday I'd stare at a blank page trying to remember what I actually did that week. I'd dig through chat history and git logs, and still forget half of it.
The idea: don't write the report on Friday. Jot down one short note whenever something happens, then let AI organize those notes into a report.
What WeekNote does:
📝 Quick capture – sticky-note style notes with text, images and voice memos, plus category tags
📅 Built around the week – all 7 days on one screen, and you pick Mon or Sun as your first day
✨ One-tap AI reports – choose a week or month, pick which categories to include and a style (concise / detailed / bullet points). The report streams in and you can edit it before sending.
📱 Home-screen widget on Android showing this week's notes
☁️ Web app + cloud sync across devices
Privacy: notes are stored locally first. Only the notes you select are sent to the AI, and only when you tap "generate". Nothing is sent in the background.
Pricing: notes, categories, calendar and the widget are free. The free plan includes 2 AI generations per month. AI calls cost real money, so the paid plan ($2.99/mo or $29.99/yr) adds 40 generations per month and cloud sync.
Who it's for: engineers and PMs writing status updates, freelancers doing monthly client summaries, and students tracking their progress.
I'd love your feedback:
1. Would you trust an AI-drafted weekly report if you can edit it first?
2. What would you want next: templates, Slack/Notion export, iOS?
Thanks for taking a look! I'll be here all day answering questions.
