WeddingLens
Collect every guest photo from your wedding, privately
WeddingLens collects the photos your guests take at your wedding. They scan a QR code and upload from their phone, with no app and no login. You privately approve each photo before it reaches your shared gallery, and location data is stripped before upload.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built WeddingLens after running it at a friend's wedding, a 130-guest celebration in Clearwater Beach, Florida. The photographer captured the posed shots, but the best candids lived on 130 phones and were impossible to collect without nagging everyone for their camera roll.
WeddingLens fixes that. Guests scan a QR code on the table card and upload straight from their browser. No app to install, no account, no password.
Two things make it different from the other QR photo tools:
1. You approve every photo before anyone sees it. Nothing hits the gallery until the couple says so.
2. Location and camera metadata is stripped in the guest's browser before upload, so a shared album never leaks where a photo was taken.
It's new and I'm building it in the open. Honest feedback very welcome, especially from anyone who's gotten married recently and tried to wrangle guest photos.
